On one occasion when Christ was asked a question relating to the law of Moses, He responded, "What is written in the law?  How readest thou?" (Luke 10:26).  Remarkably the lawyer got the answer right!  The apostle Paul said of his own inspired scriptures, "When ye read, ye may understand my knowledge" (Ephesians 3:4).
